The Radnor sheep is a rare breed, predominately producing a white fleece and found in the UK. Its fleece is bulky and bouncy, yet fine enough to be used in speciality products and is long enough to be combed. The fibre fineness is approximately 31.5-33 microns and the length, 80-140mm.
The wool is particularly suited to dyeing as takes the dye easily, resulting in bright and bold colours. It is also great for for hand spinning, hand felting and many other craft uses.
